Abitom's Color Wheel Expert is a tool created for web designers to help them select harmonious color schemes. If you've ever had difficulty getting your colors to work well with each other, this tool will help. Availble for Windows 95/98/NT/Me/2000/XP.

All Web Menus (www.likno.com/allwebmenusinfo.html)
AllWebMenus is a dhtml/javascript menu builder for web site navigation that requires absolutely no DHTML or Javascript knowledge. It creates cross-browser, popup or drop down menus that work alike in all browsers supporting DHTML (all Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer versions of 4.0 and later, Netscape 6.0 included!). If you are looking for a way to create dynamic, expandable menus this is an excellent solution.

An excellent site for free clip art and other web-related images. A search engine for the site assists with locating images. Also links to other sites with image archives.

Chami has several useful tools for web developers and Internet users, but the star product is the HTML-Kit. This software is a script editor that easily handles HTML, Java, Perl, PHP and Python. You can look at a preview screen to see the web page while you are writing it. The are hundreds of plugins you can add to HTML-Kit to ease your development. We highly recommend this software. Digimarc is a developer of digital watermarking technologies. Their technologies can allow digital data to be imperceptibly embedded in traditional and digital visual content, including movies, photographic or artistic images, and valuable documents such as financial instruments, passports and event tickets. These technologies are used in a wide variety of applications, including solutions that deter counterfeiting, piracy and other unauthorized uses. This is a great way to mark and track who uses your images in the web!

User Interface Engineering (www.uie.com)
Their research shows that the vast majority of usability problems come from a single cause: someone on the development team didn't know a key piece of information. And if they had known that information earlier, they'd have designed the product to accommodate it, making the usability problem go away. Great web design information. If you've never heard Jared M. Spool, the head of UIE, speak then you've really missed something.

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 (www.w3.org/TR/1999/WAI-WEBCONTENT-19990505)
These guidelines explain how to make Web content accessible to people with disabilities. The primary goal of these guidelines is to promote accessibility. However, following them will also make Web content more available to all users, whatever user agent they are using or constraints they may be operating under Following these guidelines will also help people find information on the Web more quickly. These guidelines do not discourage content developers from using images, video, etc., but rather explain how to make multimedia content more accessible to a wide audience.
